Meet Our Staff

Randall Borri, DVM

Dr. Randy Borri graduated in 1970 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 1972, Dr. Borri founded Bristol Veterinary Service along with Co-founder Dr. Fred Culbert, now retired. Dr. Borri’s commitment to his profession has made Bristol Veterinary Service a familiar name in the Southern Wisconsin/Northern Illinois equine community.

Dr. Borri has spent the last 30+ years committed to the Equine industry. He excels in equine lameness, sport medicine, and reproduction. He attends continuing educational seminars yearly to be able to provide the latest in technique and technology.

He has been the past president of the Wisconsin Equine Practitioner Association (WEPA) and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the American Association of Equine Practitioner (AAEP) and the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA). He, along with Dr. Nelson, are the on call Veterinarians for the Wisconsin State Fair.

Together with his wife, Janice, they enjoy leisure days with their grandchildren. During his free time, Dr. Borri can also be found restoring old tractors.

Kevin Nelson, DVM

Dr. Nelson co-owns and practices large animal medicine at Bristol Veterinary Service. After receiving his veterinary medical degree in 1985 from Ross University, Dr. Nelson practiced in Adrian, Michigan for one and a half years before joining BVS in 1987.

Dr. Nelson’s talents and community contributions are many and varied. Twice a week he is the attending veterinarian at the Racine Zoo where he examines and treats a wide variety of species from alligators to zebras. He has served as the veterinarian for the Kenosha County Fair for 20 years and for the Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program for more than 15 years.

Kevin, along with Deanna and their son Nathan operate and manage Freehorse Farm. The farm specializes in dressage and eventing. In his free time, Kevin also competes in combined driving.

In 2007, Dr. Nelson was awarded the Veterinarian of the Year Award at the 92nd Annual Convention of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA). This award is given by the WVMA annually to a member who has made major contributions to the advancement of the veterinary medical profession.

Morgan Wiseley, DVM

Dr. Morgan Wiseley grew up in a small rural town in Wisconsin, where she fell in love with veterinary medicine while helping her dairy vet father on farm calls. She attended Carroll University for her undergraduate education and continued on to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated in 2010 from the School of Veterinary Medicine. Small animals are her focus, especially wellness and preventive care for cats and dogs. Dr. Morgan has experience in challenging medical cases and routine surgery, and she has a special interest in the nuances of caring for pets as they enter their senior years. Dr. Morgan is a member of the WVMA and the AVMA.

When she’s not working, Dr. Morgan can be found in the barn, either riding her Appaloosa pleasure horse or driving miniature horses at a local stable. She also likes to spend time with family and friends, travel, and enjoys the outdoors with biking and running.

Jessica Dean, DVM

Jessica Dean, DVM joined Bristol Veterinary Service in June. Jessica is a life-long rider and horse owner who grew up outside of St. Louis, Missouri. She participated in 4-H and United States Pony Club, and has competed in eventing, dressage, and on the Arabian breed circuit. She also has done a lot of trail riding, as well as just enjoying her horses as pets. She still has her retired eventer- now 35 years old- with her family in Missouri.

Jessica graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017, and just completed a year-long internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery in New York. Jessica is excited to be settling down in Wisconsin, and has enjoyed meeting the clients of Bristol Veterinary Service.
